What Is Toonbox?

Toonbox was founded in 2008. To date, the company has produced more than 260 projects, totaling more than 12 hours of high-quality animation content recognized around the world for its creative and production excellence. Mr. Freeman is a short form animated series produced by Toonbox specifically for Internet. Each episode features the iconic and cynical Mr. Freeman delivering his uniquely harsh diatribes on modern life. The show has been an Internet sensation, gathering more than 15 million fans and 60 million views on YouTube alone. With only 11 episodes produced by Toonbox, Qumi-Qumi has managed to find unqualified success in Russia (more than 200 million views on YouTube). The project has found young audiences on both major Russian kids channels (Karusel, CTC, Multimania, Detsky, 2x2) as well as the Internet. The original visual style of the project has proven to have international appeal as well. Toonbox has also found success delivering high-concept and top-quality animation services. In 2012, Om Nom Stories, the TV-series produced by Toonbox for ZeptoLab's smash gaming brand “Cut The Rope” was recognized with the iKids Awards for Best Web/App Series. Its 28 episodes gathered more than 300 million views. Toonbox continues to grow and develop at a rapid pace. Today the company's portfolio contains a number of animation projects at various stages of production. One of the major projects for 2015 is “Kit^n^Kate”, a multi-platform animated pre-school property for the international market that includes a 32 x 5' animated series. In addition to their original projects, Toonbox has provided animation services to international clients including Microsoft, Adobe, Ahmad, Nokia, Danone, AIG, Kaspersky Lab., Wacom, Braun, Oriflame, and Activision-Blizzard, to name but a few.
