ThinkZone is an award-winning social enterprise that works towards improving the educational outcomes of early-grade learners from low-income communities using a technology-enabled school-in-a-box approach. Trained community educators, anganwadi and school teachers deliver quality early-grade education programs by using ThinkZone's technology, proprietary teaching resources, classroom activities and management tools. ThinkZone has already provided ‘level-based' quality early-childhood and primary level education for 5,000+ children across remote villages of India, who have shown 1-2 levels improvement in learning levels within a period of 1 year of going through ThinkZone programs. More than 80% of the children enrolled in the primary grade program over a period of one year have jumped two levels up from their existing learning level(Ex:- From Level 1 to Level 3 in maths and language). Similarly, 90% of the children enrolled in the Early Childhood Program have developed age-appropriate skills over a period of one year under the 4 required skills (physical, language, memory and social & emotional). Starting its operations in 2015, ThinkZone is currently implementing its education program across 500+ villages in Odisha. ThinkZone's work has also led to an average 30% increase in the overall skills of the educators who have gone through 1 year of ThinkZone training and mentorship. This will be the very few times in India where a localized tech-based pedagogy is being built for first generations learners and for improving the skills of facilitators who come from a limited education background. ThinkZone is also building a community enhancement model via technology wherein low-income families (especially mothers) are directly connected to us via an IVR based system, wherein they get weekly training calls about early childhood care and education (ECCE)
