Success is often measured by the amount of growth in a particular defined area. If there’s been one constant at The Yeatman Group of Long & Foster since 2014, it’s been rampant growth at almost every imaginable level. The team has grown leaps and bounds every year as it celebrated its 5th year anniversary in August 2019. Starting as a team of two, the group has grown to now 35 members with no slowdown in sight. Team founder Kyle Yeatman shares, “We didn’t just grow in agents like most ascending teams in the market today; but rather we focused on growth in areas that could better serve the needs of our clients. For example, positions like interior designers, staging experts, listing specialists, marketing executives, closing managers, and experience concierges all bring a different level of service and value to our clients that they often can’t find elsewhere.†By having experts focus on one specific part of the process of customers’ buying or selling journeys, Yeatman feels the customer ultimately benefits and receives a better overall experience. “The truth is, there are many great agents out there, but not many that do all things well. Where they may be strong in a particular area, they may be lacking in others, which is where our system really works well,†said Yeatman. It seems like the market agrees with these concepts as the team has grown in sales by nearly 100 units every year and industry experts are starting to take notice. The team was ranked in the top 200 Real Estate Agents/Teams in the country (out of over 1.3 million agents) by The Wall Street Journal’s Real Trends’ annual “The Thousand†list and ranked as the top selling Real Estate Team in the RVA region by volume. Locally, the team has been voted as Richmond’s Best Real Estate Team two years in a row and is a finalist again this year.
