Today, Vane operates out of seven locations, from the ports of New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore down the East Coast to Norfolk, Charleston, Savannah and Jacksonville. Since establishing a ship chandlery in 1898, Vane Brothers has always exemplified a commitment to quality and excellence. While the chandlery no longer exists, it has been replaced by a fleet of more than 120 tugboats, barges and freight boats ready to meet the ever-changing challenges of the maritime industry. When Captain William Burke Vane first came ashore in 1898, he sought to find a better way to serve sailors.
