The Strategic Group of Companies is a boutique investment firm that focuses primarily on private equity solutions that help mitigate taxes to help our investors reach their goals. We work closely with high-net-worth investors, family offices and their trusted advisors, as well as corporations, and banks. We have four distinct lines of business: • Strategic Investment Management - Opportunity Zones: Invest in businesses and real estate opportunities within defined “Opportunity Zones” that can mitigate the taxation of capital gains and all future appreciation is tax free if held for ten years. • Strategic Capital Partners - Conservation Easements: Invest in land conservation with an objective of being “green, sustainable and/or socially responsible” and the potential to receive significant tax mitigation. • Strategic 1031 Exchange Advisors - 1031 Exchange Intermediary: A qualified intermediary specialist in 1031 exchange proceeds, including more difficult structures resulting from partnerships, lease buy-backs, and other complex structures. • Strategic Tax Solutions - Federal & State Tax Credits: Specialist in transferable Federal and State tax credits such as film, low-income, historic rehabilitation, renewable energy, and mill building tax credits that can help offset tax liabilities.
