What Is The Social Mobility Foundation?

The Social Mobility Foundation is a charity that exists to support high-achieving young people from low-income backgrounds into the top universities and professions. \n\nOur core programme, the Aspiring Professionals Programme (APP), is completely free of charge and supports high-achieving students in Birmingham, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Cardiff.\n\nSuccessful applicants are provided with a programme of e-mentoring, skills development, tailored university visits, university application support . Support continues whilst the students are at university, in order to give them the best chance of entering the profession they aspire to.
