The Rosenblum Companies is a developer and full service owner-operator of premier properties in the Capital Region of New York totaling over one million square feet. For nearly four decades, Rosenblum has focused on providing better spaces and real estate services to Fortune 500 corporations, regional businesses, medical practices, government agencies, nonprofit institutions, and individual residents alike. Founded in 1979, The Rosenblum Companies was the first to construct office space on Washington Avenue Extension in Albany, completing ten new buildings, eight of which currently comprise the Corporate Plaza campus. In 1990, the company developed a unique parcel at the nexus of the region’s main transportation routes into Great Oaks, today one of the most desirable office parks in the area. The Rosenblum Companies focuses on providing healthier, more productive workplaces through ongoing investment and innovation. Among its sustainability initiatives, Rosenblum is one of only two commercial property owners in the region to achieve ENERGY STAR certification for five or more buildings. Rosenblum’s novel “Re-envisioning the Workplace” initiative assists companies with creating custom spaces that better meet their particular corporate culture, workflow and staff needs. The Rosenblum Companies achieved another first in 2014 by completing the adaptive reuse of a former car dealership built in 1928 into 24 customized residences called 17 Chapel Boutique Condominiums. Downtown Albany’s first and only luxury condo building, 17 Chapel was a catalyst for the City’s urban housing renaissance, with over 200 new units following into development. Following the success of 17 Chapel, TRC is actively pursuing new, diverse property development opportunities including more urban residential/mixed- use projects as well as industrial and retail.
