What Is The Marlowe Theatre?

The Marlowe is Kent’s regional theatre. As one of the UK’s most successful touring venues, we present a rich and diverse programme of drama, musicals, dance, opera, music, pantomime, new writing, poetry and comedy in our state-of-the-art Theatre and Studio. We are committed to developing regional talent, with our vibrant youth theatre and extensive artist development and participation programmes. The Marlowe Kit is our new space in a medieval building, housing a dedicated learning space, an exhibition and escape room, where we are pushing the boundaries of theatre/heritage practice.\n\nThis is an exciting time to join our team. The Marlowe became an independent charitable trust in December 2018, allowing us to invest in our success and to develop our producing and co-producing capacity across all scales. Our Everyone’s Theatre initiative will see large-scale site-specific shows bringing world class artists together with the region’s young and emerging artists and community performers.
