The Mandarin is the voice and conscience of Australia’s public service.\n\nWe’re for public sector leaders, executives and the many stakeholders, advisers and suppliers interested in their work. \n\nWe are deliberate in our content choices because we want to accurately reflect the essential, difficult, varied and sometimes thankless work performed by public servants (and those in organisations partnering with them). We promote transparency, equity, diversity, integrity and accountability but are not naive to the political, cultural and commercial pressures faced by bureaucrats and policymakers. \n\nWe are always on the side of public servants trying to do the right thing.
