What Is The Indoor Football League?

The Indoor Football League is a professional indoor football league created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. All 17 teams from both leagues are expected to return in this new league, along with other expansion teams. The announcement was made the day before the National Indoor Bowl Championship, that pitted the champions of the two leagues, the Louisiana Swashbucklers of the IFL and the Sioux Falls Storm of the UIF, against each other.
