What Is The Coding Network?
After successful careers in academic and private medical practice management Mark Babst and Neal Green founded The Coding Network in 1995 on the core principal that accurate coding is an essential component of any compliance program, and is critical to optimizing reimbursement. The Coding Network has since grown into Americaâ??s premier specialty-specific coding vendor. All of work is done in the United States by a team of over 450 single specialty coders and auditors that cover over 55 physician specialties and sub specialties. \r\n\r\nTCN provides 4 basic services:\r\n1. Coding (day to day, backlog, vacation/medical coverage and expansion that doesnâ??t require a full FTE)\r\n2. Coding accuracy audits, including ICD-10 Gap Analysis \r\n3. Physician documentation training \r\n4. Helpline\r\n\r\nTCN operates on a per-encounter basis with no monthly minimums or fees, our clients are in complete control of how much work gets done at all times. For a fee schedule and other sales inquiries, please call (888) 263-3633.\r\n\r\nAll TCN coders are independent contractors that work from home by dialing directly into EMRs, using cloud storage, secure email, fax or whichever HIPAA approved method is most convenient for our client. Like TCN, our coders are paid on a per encounter basis with fees varying by specialty. TCN coders can work a minimum of 15 hours a week allowing them to keep other jobs, but many chose to work more than the traditional 40-hour workweek. \r\n\r\nTCN Coders Requirements:\r\nâ?¢ Are certified through AAPC or AHIMA \r\nâ?¢ Live and work in the United States\r\nâ?¢ Have a minimum of 3 years single specialty production coding experience (our auditors have at least 5 years)\r\nâ?¢ Pass a TCN specialty coding exam of de-identified cases we have coded for our academic clients at an â??Aâ?? grade or better\r\n\r\n\r\nTo submit your resume, visit http://www.codingnetwork.com/medical-coding-jobs
