The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest NHS specialist cancer treatment facilities in the UK — employing over 1,000 staff and having over 220,000 patient contacts a year with more than 30,000 patients. From our main hospital in Wirral, our radiotherapy centre in Aintree and our chemotherapy and outpatient clinics in hospitals across Merseyside and Cheshire, we serve a population of 2.3 million. That includes Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire. Our Transforming Cancer Care programme will see us expand with a major new specialist cancer hospital in the heart of Liverpool in 2019.
