What Is The Cambridge Building Society?

The Cambridge is proud to remain an independent, mutual society which has been integral to the community since 1850. We provide funding for people buying their own homes and are a trusted home for people in a position to save.\n\nToday, our customers are able to do business at a time and place that suits them whether this is online, on the move; using our money app, visiting one of our branches, contacting our customer contact centre, or speaking to our Mortgage Advisers.\n\nBusiness as usual for us means we strive to provide a first class service for our customers every day and are delighted this has been recognised in a number of industry awards during 2018. These include, 'Mortgage Lender Customer Service of the Year' at The MoneyAge Mortgage Awards; a finalist in The Tech Awards; and we are shortlisted for best Mobile Payments in the Moneyfacts Awards in November.\n\nOur Society continues to evolve and recent developments include the launch of Your Saver, an account which offers customers a broad choice in how they manage their account. In September 2018 we launched our First Step Mortgage for first time buyers who hold a savings account with us. This innovative mortgage product (2% deposit) is just one of the ways we are helping our members, along with our Community Partnership Programme and sponsorship of a number of community events.\n\nOverall, our mission remains 'Finding Solutions' for our members as we have developed a 'digital Society powered by people' approach, embracing advances in technology, complemented by face to face engagement as the ideal in financial services. We want to encourage all members to join the digital revolution, with support from real people and our trusted financial name.
