The Bakken Museum inspires a passion for innovation by exploring the potential for science, technology and the humanities to make the world a better place. Established in 1975 by Earl Bakken (co-founder of Medtronic), The Bakken Museum has a range of exhibits and collections that tell the story of electricity, technology and innovation through science and the arts. The Museum is home to more than 2,500 artifacts and 11,000 books and manuscripts.
