What Is Technology Advancement Group?

TAG is an engineering solutions company that researches, designs, manufactures, integrates, and operates advanced information technologies for the military and government. TAG's two business units, Information Solutions and Tactical Systems, complement each other by providing integrated tactical solutions that meet stringent program-specific mil-spec requirements. TAG Information Solutions provides a wide range of enterprise network and communications engineering services to achieve the required interoperability amongst the various hardware and software components of complex networking and communications systems. Information Solutions' expertise includes the design, simulation, analysis, and testing of various components or systems in the support of command, control, computers, and communications (C4) operations. Information Solutions addresses the full program management lifecycle in providing mission-critical enterprise class services. TAG's Tactical Systems provides mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering for the design and development of MIL-STD certified electronic systems that are built for in-theater survivability. This includes the mission-specific ruggedization of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and non-developmental items (NDI). Tactical Systems cover intra-system interoperability analysis and support, careful COTS component selection, performance benchmarking, and long-term reliability studies to ensure full program-length system performance. Tactical Systems' success in the hardware arena include rugged servers that balance program requirements for performance, lifecycle, and resource budgets; display/server combinations for sophisticated 3-D applications; and tactical RAID data storage solutions for high-pressure compact environments. TAG, through its various partnerships and relationships with major defense contractors and government resellers, provides program-specific engineering outcomes that the U.S. military relies on to sustain information superiority, which in turn continually empowers our warfighters in the battlefield.
