Teaching Strategies, founded in 1988 by Diane Trister Dodge, noted author and child advocate, is a dynamic publishing and training company committed to making a difference in the lives of children from birth through age eight. Our mission is to enhance the quality of early childhood programs by offering practical, innovative, and developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment materials, training services and materials, and parenting resources. We also care deeply about improving the lives of the individuals with whom we entrust the care of our children--the early childhood educator. CreativeCurriculum.net was born from our personal experiences as educators and our sincere desire to make a difference for children, educators, and parents. We are devoted to creating practical materials that help educators achieve their goals. The face of Teaching Strategies--the people behind our products--is as diverse as the field of early childhood education and our local community, Washington, DC. A small company, we employ only 23 staff members, including two who live and work in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Our management team is comprised of education professionals who bring teaching and administrative experience from Head Start, child care, primary and elementary education, child advocacy, state and federal agencies, resource and referral agencies, training, consulting, and program administration. Our hardworking, dedicated support staff have years of accounting, administrative, customer service, editorial, and production experience. We believe that the future of our country depends on our ability to nurture the optimal growth and development of every child. We can make a difference! Producing materials that are comprehensive, practical, easy-to-use, and based on the best and most up-to-date research is one way we contribute to improving the care and education of children. We also create comprehensive, yet easy to understand parent education resources--because we believe that strong partnerships between educators and families are essential. By helping to build lasting partnerships between parents and programs and offering excellent resources for educators, we fortify the strong foundation children need to become enthusiastic lifelong learners who succeed in school and in life. CreativeCurriculum.net is intricately linked with The Creative Curriculum® for Preschool, and the work of the primary authors, Diane Trister Dodge (President, TSI) and Cate Heroman (Director of Preschool Initiatives, TSI). Ms. Heroman was instrumental in the development of the system, along with the CreativeCurriculum.net development and management team: Warren Harris, > Fran Simon, > Larry Bram, > Tarek DeLavallade, > Ervin Waddy, > Leonard Shands, > And our expert development team at > Member Login
