TFC Recycling is Virginia's largest privately owned provider of responsible waste solutions. Through our partnerships and agreements with local and municipal governments and public service authorities, we provide recycling services for over 550,000 households in six of Virginia's largest cities, and more than 4,000 commercial customers in Virginia and North Carolina. Founded in 1973 and headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, the company employs over 350 people, operates more than 180 collection and transfer vehicles, which includes 26 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles, and three (3) material recovery facilities (MRFs) in Chesapeake, Chester, and Newport News, Virginia.
