HISTORY A full service architecture, planning and interiors firm located in Tacoma’s historic Stadium District, TCF Architecture has been planning, designing and administering the construction of public and private projects throughout Washington State and beyond since 1960. Founded in 1960 by Jim Harris, TCF has enjoyed a long and successful history serving diverse clients. While each era of the firm has seen remarkable changes in the way architectural services are delivered, firm leadership has always remained committed to improving the public realm. Today, Managing Principals Randy Cook, Brian Fitzgerald, and Brian Ho, and Principals Mark Hurley and Steve Wachtler, take great pride in leading the firm through the next era of change, while striving to improve the communities in which TCF serves. Our studio, a turn-of-the century former dance school, creates the backdrop for the creative environment in which we blend our varied and complimentary talents to deliver a diverse portfolio of work.
