What Is TCES Group?

TCES Group educates young people between the ages of 7-19 years with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs or an Autistic Spectrum Condition. Our independent day-schools can be found in north-west London (east Acton), east London (Stratford and Newham) and Essex (Witham and Clacton). Since 2000, we have delivered an industry-leading package of education, health and care, in high-quality, small-group education settings where a high ratio of adults to pupils enables young people to engage with learning. Our specialist service, Create (a parallel service to each of our day-schools) educates young people with multiple overlapping and complex needs who need more intensive adult support (mostly 1:1) in a range of non-school settings which include our Therapeutic Hubs (Romford, Barking and Essex). Our highly-skilled, multi-disciplinary teams help transform pupils perception of their own strengths and abilities. Our safe, nurturing and inspiring environments help pupils settle to learning and thrive. We are committed to achieving the best outcomes for each pupil by providing access to outstanding education. 90% of our pupils are in education, employment and training six months after leaving us in Y11, a considerable achievement when their starting point is considered.
