Stratford upon Avon School is a non-selective co-educational secondary school for 11-18 year old students.. We are passionate about ensuring that our students are supported, challenged and inspired throughout their time with us. Our mission is to engage, enthuse and inspire in order to create an environment where young people can achieve extraordinary things. Every parent wants a good school for their child and every child deserves one; every member of staff wants to work in a good school, and that is what we are. Our recent Ofsted inspection (March 2016) confirmed that we are 'good' in every category. We have excellent facilities and a desire to become one of the best schools in the country. Ofsted acknowledged that "Leaders have high aspirations for pupils and these are shared by parents, pupils and staff". Over the last couple of years we have made tremendous progress as a school. This was confirmed last summer by a strong set of examination results across the board. We are now ranked in the top 25% of schools/colleges nationally for achievement in the Sixth Form based on our A Level and AS results, of which 81% were graded A*-C. There were further improvements at GCSE where the majority of our students achieved high results in English and Maths, with over 50% of our cohort achieving A*-B grades in both subjects and 62% achieving 5A*-Cs including English and Maths.
