Standard General Inc. : A COLAS COMPANY is a major civil construction contractor that has been serving the Greater Edmonton Region for over 45 years. We build major public roadways, private developments and Industrial construction projects. Our core business is road construction and material sales.\n\nStandard General is part of the Colas Group of Companies, the world leader in road construction. Being part of the Colas Group affords us the ability to invest in technology and innovation so that we may provide the safest most efficient solutions possible in the road construction industry.\n\nStandard General is vertically integrated which allows us to complete quality work in an efficient and timely manner. We have asphalt plants in Acheson, Edmonton, Leduc and we harvest our gravel from our Windfall Gravel Pit near Whitecourt, Alberta.
