Spectrum Community Health CIC is a growing social enterprise which delivers a range of community and offender healthcare services on behalf of the NHS, local authorities and other commissioners and partners. Spectrum delivers enhanced primary care services across the North of England, including: health and wellbeing for vulnerable groups with complex needs Inspiring Recovery integrated, recovery-focused substance misuse services (drugs and alcohol) in the Wakefield District North Yorkshire Horizons integrated, recovery-focused substance misuse services (drugs and alcohol) across North Yorkshire healthcare within Secure Environments (including prisons and immigration removal centres) Contraception and Sexual Health services (including relationship and sex education) in Wakefield District and Barnsley District key delivery partner for the Big Lottery Funded WY-Fi project (West Yorkshire Finding Independence), helping people with complex needs in the Wakefield District Death in Custody Clinical Reviews for the North of England Spectrum is a Community Interest Company (a form of social enterprise) and a not-for profit organisation. Any surpluses are ploughed back into intiatives and projects that improve public health and wellbeing. This enables us to work flexibly, innovatively and respond to the needs of local communities and deliver care that is personalised and effective. This also means that we remained focus on people (staff, partners, service users and the community). Our clinically-led and employee-led model means we we give staff a real say in Spectrum's future direction and influence in the way the organisation is run and managed. We employ a range of experienced health professionals including GPs, nurses and pharmacists to ensure we deliver high quality services.
