Space Data delivers wireless services and solutions for commercial and government users in locations and geographies that are not served or are poorly served by existing wireless technologies and service providers. Using high altitude balloon-borne technologies, our SkySite® and SkySat™ Platforms can be launched in a matter of minutes, creating a broad coverage solution for otherwise denied areas. The resulting network can operate both on a standalone basis and as an extension—and a complement—to existing terrestrial wireless networks. Telemetry services delivered over the SkySite® Network enable customers in industries such as energy, electric utilities and transportation to monitor their assets reliably and cost effectively, no matter how remote the location. And our SkySat™ Platforms offer military customers the ability to provide an extended communications coverage footprint of up to 600 miles in diameter in virtually any field condition.
