Caniff Electric Supply was founded in 1982 by father and son, Robert Bemis and Doug Bemis. Caniff focuses on distributing high quality electrical products to industrial, commercial, and residential customers. Our primary market is Southeast Michigan - Metropolitan Detroit over to Port Huron, up to Saginaw, over to Lansing, and as far south as Northern Ohio. Caniff is a key player in large commercial and industrial projects. Some of our recent work we have participated in includes: C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, Detroit Public Schools, Marathon Oil, MGM casino, Greektown Casino, Motor City Casino, General Motors Tech Center, and many more. Caniff's greatest strength is the relationship we build with our customers. We understand the needs of the customers in our industry and pride ourselves on exceptional customer service.
