Proud Heritage. New Spirits. Southern Distilling Company is one of the largest craft distilleries in the nation. Providing custom contract distilling services with a specialty in whiskeys and liqueurs. Makers of award-winning Southern Star Bourbons, Rye Whiskeys & Liqueurs and The Celebrated Old Hunting Creek Straight Rye Whiskey. Conveniently located on Interstate 77, near the Interstate 40 interchange, in beautiful Statesville, North Carolina. The destination distillery is a comfortable rest stop. Open to the public, with a specialty spirits gift shop on site, Behind-the-Scenes Bourbon Tours & Tastings are offered Monday-Saturday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Current COVID operations - Curbside Pick Up open Monday-Friday, 10:00-5:00, offering retail sales of spirits products, hand sanitizer, and branded merchandise, as well as free spirits samples. Main Tasting Room currently closed, with no tours offered at this time.
