At the start of the 20th century Simon-Carves was the leading British company building coke ovens and sulphuric acid plants. By the 1950s its operations extended to gasification, fertilisers, petroleum refining and petrochemicals plants. The last quarter of the 20th century saw Simon Engineering companies actively involved in pharmaceuticals and the nuclear industry. \r\n\r\nToday, Simon Carves Engineering is focused on providing specialist Engineering and Procurement Services in the Process and Energy industries.
