The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Headquartered in San Jose, CA, the Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council delivers the Scouting program to San Benito, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties. Guided by a talented staff and dedicated board of directors, our thousands of adult volunteers make a direct and positive impact to over 13,000 youth in our community through a variety of fun and challenging experiences. Through commitment to our program, youth acquire valuable life skills and a sense of community, while building lifelong friendships!
