ShoppingGives exists to create social impact with every purchase, having built a community of retailers and nonprofits that give back to one another through their customers and supporters, and we are proud to be a Certified B Corp! The community is created through two unique technologies: an intuitive online fundraising platform and ShoppingGives’ Change CommerceⓇ. This technology enables retailers to donate a percentage of each purchase to a nonprofit that the customer selects during checkout, building customer loyalty and trust through charitable giving.\n\nThis two-sided value proposition drives new incremental customers to the retailers that are both high-intent and highly engaged shoppers. Change Commerce builds both trust and loyalty for the brand, translated into higher conversion rates, increased AOV, and lower cart abandonment for the retailer. By understanding a customer’s non-profit affinity through aggregated data, retailers are now enabled to re-engage and communicate to customers in a new way, through a message of giving. The entire process is completely managed and tax-deductible for the retailer, streamlined through ShoppingGives.\n\nFor the customer, this technology allows them to turn the retailer’s giving into a personal experience. From their local PTA to their favorite national cause, each shopper can choose which organization will benefit from their purchases, allowing the retailer to build a more genuine relationship with their customers. That customer is enabled to continue to use the ShoppingGives platform to track their giving across Change Commerce retailers and further support the causes they care about most.
