It is the reason for our name, and drives our never ending commitment to care. \n\nSerengeti Care provides in home care services for a wide range of needs. Our organization was founded by Josephine Mporokoso; a Registered Nurse with a deep background in care giving. \n\n\nJosephine was a care giver for more than a decade before becoming a Registered Nurse. As a caregiver and as a registered nurse, Josephine endured professional and personal heartaches in silence before deciding to step out to form Serengeti Care. Josephine realized that when you care for any client, you are also caring for the client’s family and friends. She wanted to do more than provide hands on care.\nJosephine very clearly understood that as a nurse and caregiver, she has a unique opportunity to help address family conflicts and the stress family members experience from care giving. Josephine came to also see that there is a general lack of reliability, compatibility and competence among most agencies and their staff. \nJosephine founded Serengeti Care because she believed that safe and credible recruiting methods should be used and every candidate should be vetted, references done and back ground checks performed. \n\nLastly, Josephine believes in regular and unsolicited communication with the clients and the family. Honestly sharing successes and challenges along the way. At Serengeti Care, it is our delight to give back to our prior generation with exceptional, heartfelt care at a time in life when it is most valued.\n\nWhether we are providing the most advanced care, or simply holding your hand, we take pride in bringing the highest level of quality and relationship to your residence.
