Sensato is a cybersecurity software and services company focused on helping organizations protect patient attached medical devices and critical infrastructure required to support systems utilized by clinicians to provide quality patient care. Sensato works with the government, Department of Defense, finance, healthcare and critical infrastructure industries. In 2018 Sensato launched its latest offering, MD-COP, the Medical Device Cybersecurity Operations Program along with the Nightingale software platform. Sensato MD-COP provides hospitals with a 24x7 Security operations Center, Medical Device Breach Detection System, cybersecurity risk assessment and scoring, cybersecurity policies, continuous threat intelligence and medical device cybersecurity best practices. The Nightingale software sets a trap by creating a honeypot—an isolated and monitored server that appears to be a high value target. Drawing an attacker to it, the honeypot allows anomalous activity to be detected quickly, so Sensato can monitor the attacker's activity and then initiate countermeasures.
