Sendy is an end-to-end logistics solution enabling thousands of businesses to move any type of goods using any type of vehicle: motorcycle, pick-up, van, truck or trailer. Sendy was established in 2014 as a way to provide easy tools to empower and enrich people. Prior to Sendy, there was no reliable package delivery service to peoples' doorsteps. People were spending hours in exhaustive commutes trying to collect packages from the city centre. The platform, which started out as a relatively small project emerged winner at PIVOT East, a mobile start-up competition. Sendy won the transport category, having focused on building Kenya's most trusted platform for all types of deliveries. Sendy is headquartered in Kenya and has gradually expanded across the country and East African borders where the company is enabling businesses to move large volumes of goods. At Sendy's core is a belief that everyone should be to trade and thrive in Africa. No one should be left out of trading because the cost is too great or the tools are inaccessible.
