Rashid Ishaq founded SCi in 1996 on the sofa of his studio apartment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a month’s supply of Ramen Noodles, a small savings account, and a used car, Rashid worked around the clock to build a marquee client roster that included Fortune 500 companies, state and local government agencies, and local companies. With fanatic discipline and a commitment to earning his clients trust, Rashid grew SCi into a multi-million dollar IT staffing company – before the new millennium. Since 2000, SCi has grown leaps and bounds. The company has expanded as fast, and with as much maturity, as any regional organization; and is on par with most national companies. In addition to its commercial business, SCi has had the privilege and satisfaction of supporting many U.S. federal government agencies.
