What Is Secure Future for Our Children (NGO)?

Atid-Batuah (Hebrew for \Secure-Future\) is a forum of leading members in Israeli society acting to secure a better and safer future for our children by developing their leadership skills and potential. All of our senior executives (CEO, Chairperson, professional and administrative staff and program heads) are volunteers. Therefore, our mission is to strengthen Israel's resilience by developing its young leadership to combat violence and risk behaviors, to strengthen our inner solidarity and cohesion in order to fulfill the vision of being light unto the nations. There are over two and a half million children and adolescents in Israel. Many are victims of harassment and verbal, physical and emotional abuse. We are fighting to protect the future of our children, as well as that of Israeli society. We believe that every child has the right to develop, flourish, and succeed free from fear and anxiety. Our guiding principle is that the prevention of violence saves lives. Atid Batuah focuses on our children and youth to reduce violence and risk behaviors. We recognize the potential of the adolescents themselves to influence peers and lead social change. Our field projects seek to create partnerships and comprehensive systems that provide the tools, support, and encouragement our youth need to build a secure future, free of violence
