What Is Seattle Thunderbirds Hockey Club?

The T-Birds mission is to uphold the WHL mission of providing affordable family entertainment in the form of high-caliber, competitive hockey, and to develop our players and staff in a positive professional direction. By establishing the Thunderbirds in this way makes a dynamic contribution to the Greater Seattle community. The Thunderbirds are dedicated to developing the players athletic, educational, and professional talents. The T-Birds are a part of the U.S. Division of the Western Conference of the WHL. The T-Birds play their home games at ShoWare Center in Kent, WA. Russ Farwell is the team’s General Manager and Steve Konowlachuk is the Head Coach.
