What Is Save the Children UK?

Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. \n\nIn more than 100 countries including the UK, we help children stay safe, healthy and keep learning. We lead the way on tackling big problems like pneumonia, hunger and protecting children in war, while making sure each child’s unique needs are cared for. We find new ways to reach children who need us most, no matter where they’re growing up. \n\nFor a century, we’ve stood up for children and made sure their voices are heard. We wrote the treaty that sets out the rights of every child, and we’ve been upholding them every day since.\n\nWe know we can’t do this alone. Together with children, supporters and partners, we work to help every child become who they want to be.\n\nImportant notice:\n\nGiven the uncertainties around the duration of the health crisis Save the Children UK have made the decision to put a temporary restriction on all ongoing non critical recruitment with effect from 18 March 2020. We feel that this is the correct and responsible decision to make in these exceptional circumstances in order to ensure that we continue to support current public health measures.\n\nIf you have recently applied or interviewed for a position at Save the Children UK we will be in touch with you shortly to provide you with information on the status of the position. In the meantime, if you have any questions please contact the HR recruitment team at our careers inbox - careers@savethechildren.org.uk.\n\nWe will continue to provide further updates as and when we can in relation to the status of our recruitment activity.\n\nMany thanks in advance for your understanding at this time and for your interest in working for Save the Children UK.\n\nPlease keep checking our website for any further information.
