SAVANA (www.savanamed.com) was founded in 2014 with the vision to improve quality of health services by using Artificial Intelligence. SAVANA is aimed to allow and optimize extraction, integration, and exploitation of the unique and massive amount of medical knowledge currently untapped within Electronic Health Records (EHRs). At present, we are scaling this vision internationally. SAVANA has developed EHRead, a powerful technology that applies NLP and deep learning techniques to analyse the unstructured free text information written in millions of EHRs and automatically extracts highly valuable medical information. We have gained considerable know-how and experience, not only developing our core NLP technology but also developing products, namely, identifying underserved mission-critical needs and turning them into ready to-use applications. We have launched them successfully in the Spanish market. SAVANA Manager is currently operational in more than 40 hospitals and 15 RWE (real world evidence) studies are ongoing with SAVANA Research in 80 hospitals.
