The Saskatchewan Auto Fund is the province's compulsory auto insurance program, operating the driver licensing and vehicle registration system. The Auto Fund is financially self-sustaining, operating on a break-even basis over time. It does not receive money from, nor pay dividends to, the government.\r\n\r\nSGI CANADA is the trade name of the property and casualty insurance division of Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) which offers products in 5 Canada's provinces. It operates SGI CANADA in Saskatchewan, SGI CANADA Insurance Services Ltd. in Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia, and Coachman Insurance Company in Ontario. Products are sold through a network of independent insurance brokers.\r\n\r\nSGI employs over 2,000 people and works with a network of almost 500 independent insurance brokers and nearly 400 motor licence issuers in Saskatchewan, as well as numerous brokers outside the province.\r\n\r\nRegina is the home of SGI's corporate head office along with the Regina Operations Centre (ROC). We operate 21 claims centres and 5 salvage centres across 13 Saskatchewan communities.
