Saffron Housing is a dynamic and successful housing association that finds and implements innovative solutions and aims to provide the optimum level of service to our customers. We operate in four counties within the Eastern Region and deliver housing services to residents of over 6,000 homes. Saffron is a business with charitable aims where the surplus from our activities is reinvested back into the business to further improve our performance. For some the current financial climate is difficult but Saffron has a sound financial base. We currently employ almost 200 members of staff and at the start of 2016 we were delighted to be awarded the Investors in People Gold Award. As a leader in the development of new affordable homes in East Anglia we are close to realising our ambitious plans to increase our stock to over 7,000 and we continue to look for new opportunities; be it the partners we work with or the kind of accommodation we provide. Through our board membership we demonstrate a strong commitment to tenant representation which brings insight and challenge from the very people we serve. The Board and the Executive Team are not complacent as they continue to work together to celebrate and consolidate Saffron's success and growth whilst constantly seeking new areas of business. There is an unprecedented demand for affordable housing and Saffron remains committed to delivering its objectives and obligations to existing tenants whilst acquiring and developing new properties to reduce the shortage of supply of affordable housing and services.
