The company began on Stone Way, north of Lake Union, between the neighborhood of Wallingford and Fremont, hence the name Stoneway. The contractors in North Seattle liked our service and we have been growing ever since. Stoneway is an employee-owned, full line, stocking electrical wholesale distributor, with sixteen conveniently located offices and warehouses located in the Pacific Northwest. We have customers in Washington, North Idaho, Northeastern Oregon and Western Montana. Ed Ralph, Stoneway’s co-founder, initiated the transition to an employee-owned company in 1994. Today, Stoneway Electric has over 230 employee-owners.
