SSC Service Solutions Revenue and Competitors

SSC Service Solutions was founded by Baxter Lee in 1969 as Southeast Service Corporation. Mr. Lee was a veteran of the U.S. Army and graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Finance. He was a Director of the Building Service Contractor's Association International (B.S.C.A.I.) and a member of the Southeast Region Federal Reserve Board. Through Mr. Lee's vision and leadership we grew from being a small cleaning company in Knoxville, Tennessee into a nationwide corporation. As SSC grew, we expanded both our services and our service area. Today, SSC is one of the largest contract service organizations in the country with over 6000 employees, offices in 20 states, and the capability to provide total facility support -- every aspect of both cleaning and maintenance. And, because of our size, we've been able to develop time- and money-saving systems such as national purchasing power, specialized management, modern, labor-saving equipment, a large information database, and extensive technical support.
