What Is SPFL?

The SPFL – Scottish Professional Football League – is based at Hampden Park in Glasgow and governs elite level league football in Scotland. We cover the top four tiers of the game in Scotland and have 42 member clubs. We are responsible for running the Premiership, Championship, League One and League Two (all sponsored by Ladbrokes), as well as the Scottish League Cup and the Petrofac Training Cup. Scottish football is renowned for grit and passion on the pitch and excitement in the stands. Our aim is to showcase the game, in the stadium and around the world, whilst making it accessible and enjoyable for the communities local to our clubs.
