What Is SNEI Biological?

Established in 1991, Southern Nevada Environmental, Inc. (SNEI) is a certified woman and minority-owned small business enterprise, with offices in Las Vegas NV, and Victorville CA. SNEI is recognized by the CPUC as a WMBE in both Nevada and California (VON #17001051 and #17000588), and by Nevada Department Of Transportation as a DBE & SBE (#NV20536661NUCP). SNEI is an environmental consulting firm offering biological, botanical and GIS services, primarily providing field biologists to work on utility, highway and energy projects in California, Nevada, Arizona & Utah. 

SNEI operated and managed the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center in Las Vegas for Clark County, USFWS, and BLM. We were contracted to translocate over 7,000 desert tortoises into the Large Scale Translocation Site near Jean, NV from 1996 to 2007. During this tenure, SNEI assisted and coordinated with researchers from the Smithsonian Institution, San Diego Zoo, University of Nevada-Reno, University of Florida, Georgia Southern University, Drexel University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, Colorado State and Utah State. Our Team: SNEI has a large in-house team of authorized desert tortoise biologists that have authorization in California, Nevada and Utah. Including the desert tortoise, our team also has expertise with working on avian, herpetological, mammalian and botanical projects. Projects experience includes:
