SERVICE ABOVE SELF. In April 1984, 35 business leaders in the Atlanta area came together to put Dunwoody, Georgia on the Rotary International map. From the start, it was the mission of our charter members to \successfully execute multi-faceted, highly visible programs and activities designed to contribute substantially to the ideals and aims of Rotary\. They wanted to make a difference in the local community and around the world. Over thirty years later, this is still the mission of the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, Georgia, USA. We can look at our local community and see the difference we have made. Our service projects address literacy, education, health, first responders, and other critical issues both in our community and around the world. In addition, the fellowship we share has enriched every member's life. We celebrate each other, hard work, and having fun together as we look for even more opportunities to provide service to those in need.
