Rock House was started by Rob Mueller and Chris Karabas, two local musicians with a passion for rock and roll. We are an award winning small business that offers a new take on how to teach music, with 'Producers & Artists'”‹, rather then 'Teachers & Students'”‹. Our rocking teaching staff is made up of local musicians who strive to bring a variety of teaching and learning styles to the table. We began hand-roasting our own fair-trade coffee in 2013, and we are pretty proud of the results. We encourage our cafe staff to be creative and take pride in what they hand-out to customers. We serve several locally made products, including: JimmyBar, GoPicnic, Brainy Oats, and Great Lakes. Many of our small business neighbors serve our coffee, including: The Noodle, Nick's Restaurant, Valley Lodge (Wilmette), Homer's Restaurant, and Rolf Salon.
