We work in close collaboration with external partners to support initiatives that strengthen our identity, build capacity, and promote the advancement of a smart and caring nation.\n\nThe Rideau Hall Foundation was established during the Right Honourable David Johnston’s mandate as governor general of Canada to strengthen the ability of the Governor General to better serve Canadians through a range of initiatives linked to learning, leadership, giving, and innovation.
