Resurgens Technology Partners is an Atlanta-based private equity firm focused on investing in North American-based, lower middle-market software and tech-enabled services businesses. Our team, which is comprised of both experienced tech private equity investors and accomplished executives, has built and refined an innovative model for successful control investing in the emerging “micro-tech” segment. We are investing our first fund, a $212 million institutionally-backed vehicle closed in 2018, and have made two platform investments, Investment Metrics and Assurance Software. Resurgens is actively seeking new platform and add-on acquisition targets. INVESTMENT CRITERIA We focus on investing in micro-cap enterprise technology companies headquartered in North America and typically generating between $5-30 million in recurring revenue. We have a preference for majority recapitalizations but will also consider select minority investment opportunities. Resurgens will invest up to $40 million in a given platform company, with the ability to increase that amount further through financial partners.
