In our first 30 years in the Bay Area, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center has helped thousands of individuals bring over 10,000 small businesses to market, supporting their mission to enhance Bay Area life through entrepreneurship. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social impact organization, Renaissance fuels community vitality by empowering under-served individuals to start businesses that bring jobs, character, and sustainable economic health to the local economy. The majority of our clients are women and people of color. About 90% are lower income. One in eight are living with a disability. Launching and managing a successful business is not easy, especially for those who face higher barriers to success. Renaissance partners with entrepreneurs to help them overcome these challenges and become leaders in their communities and fully participate in the dynamic economy of the San Francisco Bay Area.
