What Is Remus?

Remus is a specialist Independent firm of Managing Agents, managing apartment buildings and private estates of apartments and houses throughout England and Wales. With offices in Southern England (Salisbury), South East England (Brighton), Central England (Birmingham), Eastern England & Thames Gateway (Chelmsford), Prime Central London (London Bridge), Wales & West of England (Cardiff) and South West England (Plymouth), Thames Valley (Reading) and our satellite office in the North West we presently provide vital services to more than 30,000 residents homes, including homes in retirement housing schemes and exclusive mixed use developments. Our clients are Right to Manage Companies, Tenant Management Companies, Developers and Freehold Investors. Our staff are trained in all aspects of property management, based on both good practice and current legislation. Our Property Managers have either qualified with the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM) or are studying to attain membership. Remus Management is a member of the Association of Retirement Housing Managers (ARHM) and abides by the Code of Practice of that Association and that of The Royal Institute of Chartered surveyors (RICS). Both Codes of Practice have received approval from The Secretary of State. We are regulated by the FCA in relation to the conduct of our insurance activities (previously the FSA). Remus are members of the The Property Ombudsman to ensure that any issues raised, that cannot be resolved via our in-house systems, can be resolved quickly and fairly to all parties satisfaction. In 2016 the business was acquired by Fexco Property Services. They have subsequently purchased Crabtree Property Management as part of a programme of consolidation to allow more investment into the business.
