What Is RECCO?
RECCO AB produces and sells search technology for avalanche rescue and search and rescue operations in the outdoors. The technology was invented by Magnus Granhed, the founder and owner of RECCO AB, in the 1980s. Today the RECCO system is a global standard for avalanche rescue and is utilized by professional rescuers worldwide. The RECCO® detectors are used by professional rescuers to search for and find people equipped with RECCO reflectors.
