Founded in 1983 within the BioHealth Capital Region of Maryland, there was a clear need in the market for a manufacturing facility well-equipped with the resources and sterile facilities required to produce solid laboratory solutions. Given the vast number of local renowned research institutions such as NIH, JHU, University of Maryland and Ft. Detrick, the need for QBI remains today.
